  1. what an absolutely horrendous interviewer. I'm embarrassed…props to Chris for handling it so eloquently.

  2. I am not gay and I am not bi, but I find her gorgeous and very sexy. I guess I'm confident in who I am and I don't care if anyone want to call me gay or whatever. It's a word. It means HAPPY…and this performer's music makes me happy…OK, so I guess I am gay after all….but I'm a female who likes men. Call me weird if you wish. That's OK, too.

  3. lameo puppet pushing on the androgynous agenda…French castrati..just lies..at least admit you are a tranny

  4. She is so wonderful! 😍

  5. Hello , Chris je me suis régalée devant mon téléviseur ton concert est fantastique , j'ai 61 ans y a longtemps que je n'avais pas ressenti de plaisir aussi fort merci et continue je suis très fan merci 👏👏👏👏

  6. Je l’adore 😻😻😻

  7. Why do folks need to know any trope?
How about just accepting everything for the sound / music that comes out.
(I love & shared to death Tilted) – it's still one of my Top Twenty (which includes Bowie).
You are amazing, incredible & unique.

  8. In other words you’re a lesbian, why the confusion ?

  9. She’s so perfect 😍

  10. Wow, she's such a fantastic person. I stumbled over one of her new songs and fell in love with her new record. And the more I see about her, the more I realize what an interesting person she is. I hope that I can see her live someday at my hometown Cologne or somewhere close by. All the luck to you Chris with your music and with everything. xx

  12. we stan chris so much what an icon

  13. Why are there people getting annoyed at the interviewer?

  14. THIS INTERVIEWER IS SO FUCKING RUDE- not cute henny no

  15. he's so uncomfortable, chris is a legend

  16. Stop interrupting her 🙄

  17. She reminds me of David Bowie.

  18. She's just so brilliant 💎💎💎

  19. Well she does admit she is a woman. To be fair she can identify as a kangaroo, who cares anyway?

  20. I love her ideas 👌 such a eloquent and charming woman

  21. thinking there is only male or female is what's weird

  22. BBC continues its stupid plot to create disunity old vs. young, common sense vs. Trans cult, men vs. women, and instate stereotypes +++. A deplorable man forcing the stereotypes of trans and misogyny instead of an informed interview with a popular artist.

  23. She. Is. STUNNING! First interview I’ve seen of her. What a lovely person! 😍❤️

As for Macron, those of us in the trenches love it when he turns in to a shark regarding the US monster running the asylum.

  24. Such a misogynistic man. Doesn't realize that she shows LOADS of skin in the new album videos. He doesn't know this because he either never watched them. Or doesn't consider a slim woman without massiv cleavage "female" or feminine enough for it to be considered nudity. He keeps also trying to tell her she is a boy. Tone deaf creep.

  25. Fuck off BBC and your calling "old people" dumb. Older people lived through the 60s ,70s,80s and all the glam rock, hippies, punk, gender bending, club kids and goth. It isn't alien to older people, if anything it is passé.
Kids and young adults can discover it for themselves, but don't call the population over 40 as some bunch of alien idiots.

  26. why is he asking about skin and how much of it you show or do not? OMG awful question

  27. Evan Davis is that embarrassing uncle that always asks idiotic questions.

  28. I'm one of those "old people" at 61, but I love her and what she stands for.

  29. Cringed at everything he said. I think Chris did too 😅

  30. the "old" "new" dichotomy is so boring. and the persistent "do you respect [the binary]" question is also boring. like really? the world is so much more nuanced and beautiful than that. and chris lives in that nuance; in that beauty.

  31. What an idiot. Pansexual is bisexual, dumb cunt.

  32. I love to hear Chris express herself both on and offstage. However, Evan Davis is a terrible interviewer. Chris is renowned as a singer who writes about topics of love, gender and self acceptance and yet he ignores this and starts asking her about the political climate in France. There’s such a condescending tone from him in this exchange that really misses the mark.

  33. The BBC & CH4 are both Obsessed with Raming Gender Items Down Our Thoats ..I for one am SICK OF IT Now soon as anyone says the Word GENDER … CLICK your gone .

  34. I hate all those keywords from the USA our media uses like Millennials, bromance, pop of colour etc

  35. Sexuality:
    Lesbian, gay, bi and trans.

    Gender:
    Male and female.

There we go…didn't need an interview didn't need to stir shit….I covered it all.

    Fucking extremists….ruining everything.

  36. I love her music, such a great musician and lovely person.

  37. She's such an intelligent woman and god I wish I could speak english as good as she does

  38. I feel like people will look at his interview in a decade and will be like wow he’s so insensitive. Props to her for handling it with so much charm and openness

  39. Evan’s line of questioning and the language he uses are totally tone deaf

  40. what a horrendous interviewer

  41. She is… AMAZING!❤️

  42. Chris is effortlessly articulate , intelligent and funny. The interviewer unfortunately comes across as ignorant and derisive (in a way so typical of some white males) towards complicated issues surrounding sexuality. I get that he’s trying to explore these issues in an accessible way for the “older people” he keeps alluding too but there’s a way to do this without coming across as this “I’m just an older man who is ignorant of these issues please take on the labour of educating me”. You should be doing better Newsnight!
